DAY CARE ADMINISTRATOR'S MESSAGE

Karishma Devnani
Day Care Administrator

Greetings from St.Mira's Day Care Centre

St. Mira proudly steps into its decennial year in 2017, continuing and promising to take care of your precious children. Dadaji believes that the brain of young ones is a fertile soil to sow the seeds of Character, Culture, Courage and Compassion. This is what we strive for at St.Mira's Day Care Centre.

Apart from providing good Ambience, we at St. Mira's believe that your children should also be kept safe, so our caretakers do exactly that. They look after them, their studies(if they are in learning care),their food and overall well being. The Children at St. Mira's also have some physical activities along with playtime and Arts and Crafts activity or we let a child be happy and do nothing if he/she so desires. Keeping your child safe, happy and stress free in a homely atmosphere is very important after long day at School, and at the end of the day your child is safely dropped home.

A fruitful and rewarding journey since 2008. Thank you parents for your co operation and trusting St.Mira's Day Care Centre where we believe that reward of one duty done is to fulfil another. We follow what our dear Gurudev Dada Vaswani says, "Do your duty in the best way you can ,and you will gradually march to perfection.”

Thank You
Karishma Devnani

Day Care Facilities

For working parents the problem of where to leave their child during the day poses some serious questions. Should one take obligations from relatives? Will the child be well looked after? What will happen in case of an emergency? And the biggest one of them all, "am I neglecting my child?"

Besides, with all these kind of thoughts occupying your mind, naturally, it becomes quite difficult to focus on the work at office.

The school’s well equipped Library has evolved into the soul of the school. There are books for every subject to engage the students. They are able to borrow books from the library as well as sit there and read if they so like to

Electronic Interactive Boards

The school has invested in E-Boards from NIIT for the senior sections. These Boards act as computers as well as regular Classroom Boards. All the CBSE based syllabus is fed into the CD ROMs and the teachers teach through these boards using it as a unique teaching aid. The lower classes also do take advantage of these boards when they go to these classes when these classes are free.

Health

A healthy body harbours a healthy mind. Keeping this in view an annual medical check up is conducted. In case it is found that a child needs special medical attention related to vision, hearing, teeth or breathing, the parents are informed accordingly. In addition to this the school has an infirmary and a full time nurse who looks after the health of the children. Should any emergency occur, the school is tied up with Harsha Hospital, located very close to the school for immediate medical attention. A stand by car and ongoing arrangement with the hospital ensures speedy attention.

Bus Facility

The school provides facility for students to commute. The buses pick up the students from the allotted bus stops and drop them after school hours at the same stops. School buses operate from a number of areas around the school. Additional routes could be considered depending upon the availability of sufficient number of students seeking admission around those stops.

Breakfast and Lunch

‘A sound mind in a sound body’ is the adage most parents would agree with. Physical well being and intellectual growth go hand in hand and healthy food options are an essential ingredient for both. SVIS is a Day Boarding School and we provide wholesome, nutritious vegetarian food with a variety to suit all palates. The aim would be to make eating an enjoyable peer-group activity where kids learn table etiquette and learn to value rather than waste food. The monthly menu is put up on the Notice Board on the web site.
